Daguerreotypes, Ambrotypes and Tintypes

BOGARDUS DAGUERREOTYPE. 1840's 1/6 Plate(3 1/4" X 2 3/4") dag. of young lady.  Bogardus stamped in octogonal mat., Abraham Bogardus opened his daguerrian gallery in NYC in 1846, and is considered one of the premier 19th c. photographers. Recently cleaned, good, seals not intact, housed in mat, and full leather case  (G+ cond/repaired  spine). (Ph.005) $200.
