Pen manusciption flyleaf “Dec 25th1938Jimmie Endicott from Mary and Jack Wirth”. Features an introduction by Lionel Barrymore who protrated Scrooge in the motion pictures. Facsimile signatures below dedication: "To the Memory of Charles Dickens. To Whom each in his separate sphere, two followers dedicate their efforts toward interpreting and perpetuating his great classic, A Christmas Carol, Everett Shinn, Lionel Barrymore." Wonderful two page spread at front and back endpapers of Philadelphia city street scene in the season with what appears to be the back of Scrooge bending into the middle of street players.  Bk jv 351 125.
