CDV. 4  X 2  3/8 .1864 . Seth Kinman. Brady Gallery, Washington, D.C. photographic backmark
Seth Kinman, the Rocky Mountain hunter, who presented President Lincoln with a chair made from deer horns, and who was greatly admired in Washington, has "vamoused the ranche." He was a tall Herculean out-westerner, with sharp eyes and nose, which is about all that could be seen of his face on account of the enormous amount of beard.
Exhibits some soiling and wear, o/w VG. cdv w 002
