Handwritten document, 8” x 7 ½” February 5, 1826, Richmond County, Georgia. Written by R. Bush, Justice of the Peace and was to "any lawful constable" ordering that Nicholas House be picked up and put in the custody of the officer. The order was to convey him to the common jail of said county, charged on oath by James G Blount of living in adultery and fornication with Mary alias Polly Radford and the said Nicholas House being a married man and having a wife residing in this state. Signed by R. Bush, J.P. Exhibits original fold lines, some light foxing and wear, overall Fine condition.
