This 1902 edition is illustrated by William Wallace Denslow, known for his work with L. Frank Baum in the 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Taupe cloth with titling stamped in brown. The front board features a large color pastedown illustration of Santa Claus, with Denslow's facsimile signature in the lower right corner. The interior features dozens of Denslow's vibrant illustrations, some full-page and some in-text.
The Boards exhibit some light soiling and wear, period inscription along top margin of end paper, slight diagonal crease close to spine on half title page, along with light chipping along top edge of paper of same page. Last page with has tear, with small loss of paper along bottom edge. The interior is overall clean, a few pages have minor soiling. Overall VG
