GAME OF LOST HIER – McLOUGHLIN BROS  1893
Game of Lost Heir,  McLoughlin Brother, 1893. 61/2 x 4 ½, .
 Lost Heir was named for a novel published in 1872, "The Lost Heir of Linlithgow." The book was written by Emma D.E.N. Southworth, called the most widely read author of the late 19th century. A bidding and trick-taking game. The game was successful and McLoughlin made several versions over several years. It was  subsequently published by Milton Bradley, successors to McLoughlin. .

Distinctive aesthetic design mark this 1893 McLoughlin version of Lost Heir. Contains instructions and    47 cards, two with writing on card. Please refer to photographs.
