Stewart St. Pablo Soto was one of Tucson’s first  school teachers In the early 1880s; he moved to Willcox and found a job as a salesman for Norton & Stewart general merchandise store. Pablo and his brother brought the store and established the first banking operation in Willcox in conjunction with their store in about 1888.
