PHOTOGRAPH – CA 1950 HAND TINTED WESTERN BAND – ORPHEUM GUITAR – GIBSON AMP
Photograph, hand tinted, 8 x 10. David Wright Photographer, 264 Stonewood Ave.  There is a later pencil notation “ Max Raney & Flossie Rochester NY”. Max Raney owned the Bar M Ranch in East Bloomfield, New York between 1947 through 1954, where he would put on country music shows. Max would book various hillbilly music acts at the park when it was open from early summer to late fall. Perhaps this one of the acts.
I was unable to find a reference to David Wright, though there is a 264 Stonewood Ave in Rochester.
Probably late 1940’s . The guitar player has a rare Orpheum f hole electric, and to the right is A Gibson Amplfier ( Ga 20?). Image is visually very appealing, small tear in emulsion t/l corner, remnants of glue on back where it had been mounted, overall Fine. lf et 101 $165
