The Sam (Samuel)Hill Hardware Co was located on what is now called "Whiskey Row" in the Courthouse Square of downtown Prescott. Sam opened the Hardware Store at 154 Montezuma St in 1877. Though he died unexpectedly in 1901 the store remained in business under his name until late in 1966 when it was sold.
